Da Loan Protestant Church under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Lam Dong province’s Duc Trong district solemnly held on February 24 the ground-breaking ceremony to start construction of its new church.
The ceremony was presided by Pastor Member of the ECVN (South)’s Executive Committee Bùi Phụng and attended by representatives of the Protestant Representative Committee in Lam Dong province and about 300 Protestant followers of the church.
Representatives from local authorities also joint Protestants at the event and presented congratulatory flowers to the Church.
The new church will be built with 24m long and 12m wide, at an estimated cost of VND 1 billion.
Da Loan Protestant Church was officially recognized by Lam Dong provincial government in 2008. Currently, the Church has over 1,200 followers who were Cil and Chu Ru ethnic people.
