Long Thien Pagoda located in Dong Thap province’s Lap Vo district in collaboration with local authorities held a ground-breaking ceremony on April 1 starting the construction of Long Thien Temple bridge.
Once completed, the bridge made of steel-concrete stakes connecting two communes of Long Hung B and Vinh Thanh in the district has 33m long, 4m wide and the load of five tons.
The bridge is expected to be completed in three months with the construction cost, estimated at VND 500 million, all contributed by Buddhists of Long Thien Pagoda and other supporters.
