Construction for multifunctional facility of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church’s chapter in An Giang started

The construction of a multifunctional facility of the executive board of Hoa Binh commune under the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in An Giang province’s Cho Moi district was started at a ground-breaking ceremony held on June 22.
Attending the ceremony included representatives of the church’s executive committee and executive boards at provincial and district levels, provincial and Cho Moi district authorities and Hoa Hao Buddhist followers in the locality.
The multifunctional facility located in Cho Moi district’s Hoa Binh commune is expected to be completed in 12 months at the estimated cost of about VND 1.8 billion.
Once completed, the construction would become the first-ever multifunctional facility to be used as the executive committee’s office at the grassroots- level of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church and the worshipping place for local followers, as part of a pilot program of the Buddhist church.
