The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in Quang Binh province held on January 2 a ceremony for consecration of the main Buddha statue in Kim Nai pagoda located in Quang Ninh district’s An Ninh commune in the province.
Attending the ceremony were Most Venerable Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in Quang Binh Thích Tánh Nhiếp, and large numbers of Buddhist monks, nuns and followers from Quang Ninh and neighboring district.
Kim Nai pagoda established 500 years ago was recognized as a religious worshipping place in 2017. The reconstruction of the pagoda started in early 2018, with the total investment of over ten billion VND.
