Commission for Mass Mobilization in Hanoi visits Lien Phai pagoda on Buddhist Parents Day

Chairwoman of the Commission for Mass Mobilization in Hanoi city Nguyễn Lan Hương led a delegation on August 16 to visit Most Venerable Vice President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Council Thích Gia Quang at Lien Phai Pagoda located in the city ahead of the Buddhist Parents Day 2018.
During the visiting reception, while extending greetings to the VBS Vice President on the Buddhist traditional day, Chairwoman Nguyễn Lan Hương praised Most Venerable Thích Gia Quang, who is also Chairman of the VBS’s Information and Communication Committee cum Abbot of Lien Phai pagoda, for his contributions to enhancing the spiritual life of local Buddhists.
