A closing ceremony of the training course on security-defense knowledge for religious dignitaries and deacons of religious organizations in Vietnam’s 2nd Military Region in Dien Bien province was held on October 26.
Attending the event included Colonel Deputy Director of the Militia and Self-Defense Force Lương Quang Cương, Vice Chairman of Dien Bien provincial People’s Committee Lê Văn Quý and representative from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs.
The three-day course covered key contents of state policies and laws on national security and defense as well as related issues on religion, ethnicity and social programs aimed to better ensure national security and defense in the country.
