The Christian education commission of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) in collaboration with the representative committee of the church in Gia Lai province held a training course for deacons in the province on October 17 - 18.
The training course taking place at Plei Breng Evangelical church located in Ia Dêr commune of the province’s Ia Grai district drew 1,200 deacons of Jrai, Kinh, Hmong, and San Chi ethnic communities in the locality.
During the training, Pastor Dương Quang Hòa, Member of the Evangelical church’s executive committee delivered presentations on Bible preaching and the church’s revised regulations.
At the same time, 123 Christians in the province also took part in a theology training held by the Institute of Biblical Theology at the Christian education center of Plei Breng Evangelical church.
