Christian organizations in An Giang, Gia Lai extend pre-Tet visits to provincial religious committees

Bishop Joseph Trần Văn Toản of Long Xuyen Diocese paid on January 26 a visit the provincial committee for religious affairs under the home affairs department of An Giang ahead of the lunar New Year 2021.
Welcoming the Catholic prelate was Deputy Director of the home affairs department cum Chairman of the provincial religious committee Nguyễn Phú.

At the visiting reception, while extending Tet wishes of happiness and success to all officials and staff of the provincial religious committee, Bishop Joseph Trần Văn Toản took the chance to thank the An Giang provincial religious committee for due attention and favorable conditions extended to Catholic practices and pastoral services of priests, deaneries and parishes in the locality. 

Chairman of the provincial religious committee Nguyễn Phú highly appreciated practical contributions made by parishioners in An Giang for socio-economic development, and wished a new year of blessings to the Bishop and priests as well all Catholics of Long Xuyen.

On the same day, Pastor Hồ Văn Nhiên, Vice President of the Vietnam Presbyterian Church visited and extended Tet greetings to the provincial committee for religious affairs of the Central Highland province of Gia Lai.

During the visit, Pastor Hồ Văn Nhiên also thanked provincial authorities of Gia Lai for the consistent support for the registration of practicing places for groups of the Presbyterian Church in the locality.

In welcoming the guest, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai provincial committee for religious affairs took the chance to wish the Presbyterian church and its members a new year of happiness and success.
