Charity house building group of Hoa Hao Buddhist church in Dong Thap reviews one-year operation

The charity house building group in Dinh Yen commune of Dong Thap province’s Lap Vo district under the Hoa Hoa Buddhist Church held on November 29 a meeting to review its operation since its establishment in 2018.
The event saw the presence of representatives of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in Dong Thap and local authorities.
As reported at the event, the charity house building group under the social charity committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church has contributed nearly two billion VND for the construction of 105 charity houses and repair of five others for poor people from provinces of Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Tra Vinh, An Giang, Can Tho and Dong Thap.
During the event, the charity house building group in Dinh Yen commune received certificates of commendation of the Prime Minister and local authorities for outstanding contributions in social charities in 2019.
