Charity Christmas Concert 2016 in Hanoi

Hanoi International Fellowship (HIF) planned, in collaboration with Hanoi Evangelical Church, to organize the Christmas concert for charity 2016 on December 3.

According to the HIF’s media release, the charity Christmas concert, themed “The Lights of Home”, will be held at the National Academy of Music (77 Hao Nam, Dong Da, Hanoi) and all profit of the concert will go to CityPartners, the charity arm of HIF.

The concert will be conducted in English – and feature a global cast of singers and performers – making a truly international Christmas celebration. Concordia International School and UNIS and a range of talented HIF performers will be performing. The event will also include a contemporary Christmas carols for expats, families and friends.  

Hanoi International Fellowship Lead Pastor, Jacob Bloemberg issued an invitation to Hanoi’s expatriate community to attend this special event. “This year will be a trip down memory lane of Christmases gone by,” Pastor Jacob said. “We welcome the international community of Hanoi to celebrate Christmas together with us”, the pastor added.

For Christians to joyfully celebrate the Christmas season 2016 in Hanoi, the city municipal authorities has pledged to give full support to celebrating activities. In a welcoming reception held on Nov. 25 for visiting pastors from the Hanoi Evangelical Church and Hanoi International Fellowship, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyễn Đức Chung affirmed that departments and agencies in Hanoi will do their best to help the Protestant community enjoy merry and peaceful holidays.
