The 3rd general meeting of the Buu Son Ky Huong Faith Chapter in Nghia Thanh commune, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province’s Chau Duc district was successfully held on November 21.
The event taking place at Tay An temple in the province’s Chau Duc district saw the attendance of 500 deacons from localities.
Guests of the event included Deputy Director of the Southern Religious Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Trà Quang Thanh, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Huỳnh Sơn Tuấn and representatives from other religions in the locality.

The one-day event selected 20 members to the Buu Son Ky Huong Faith’s Executive Board in Nghia Thanh commune for the 3rd term (2018-2023) with Mr. Lê Lon selected as the board head.
According to the meeting report, followers of the Buu Son Ky Huong faith in the commune have proactively engaged in social movements launched by local authorities and contributed over VND 400 million to charity programs for the poor in the past five years.
On the occasion, Chau Duc district People’s Committee presented certificates of merit to three groups and five individuals for their outstanding contributions in social movements in the locality over the past five years.
