The 74th founding anniversary of the Hòa Hảo Buddhism held in Ho Chi Minh city on June 2013

The letter said that upon its founding, with the principle “to study Buddhism, to cultivate virtue, to practice at home and to educate oneself about repaying Four Gratitudes”, Hòa Hảo Buddhism upheld and preserved orthodox dogmas and promoted national moral and cultural values. Over the past years, Hoa Hao Buddhism, with the motto “for Dharma, for Nation” has actively implemented the policies and laws of the Party and State and supportively responded to campaigns launched by the VFF, contributing to the country’s socio-economic and cultural development and ensuring security in localities and the country.

Mr. Nhân expressed his faith that Hòa Hảo Buddhism will continue to maintain unity in the great all-nation unity bloc; well observe the Charter of Hòa Hảo Buddhism and the fourth term working plan; comply with State’s policies and laws, especially those related to religious activities, building happy life in each family and residential area in order to help strengthen the national unity bloc.
