On December 3, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Central Committee for Buddhist Propagation and the Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial VBS Executive Committee held a meeting for reviewing preparatory work of the National Propagation 2015 to take place in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
Attending the meeting were Most Venerable Vice Chairman of the VBS Central Committee for Buddhist Propagation Thích Tấn Đạt, Most Venerable Chairman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee Thích Quảng Hiển and monks, nuns in the locality.
Local guests at the event included Representative of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs’ Southern Religious Affairs Department Nguyễn Thanh Xuân, Head of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs’ Buddhist Affairs Division Bùi Thị Thảo.

During the meeting, subcommittees of the Organizing Committee made briefing on all preparation works. According to a general report, there have been 41 delegations registered with nearly 1,200 delegates across the country and over 1,000 Buddhist propagators.
So far, the provincial VBS Executive Committee has organized 12 meetings to check the implementation of the preparatory work for the national conference to be held in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
