The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) solemnly held on November 7 an online ceremony for marking its 40th founding anniversary.
The ceremony based in Hanoi saw the presence of President Nguyễn Xuân Phúc, Most Venerable Thích Thiện Nhơn, President of the VBS’ Executive Council, dignitaries in the VBS’s Discernment Council and Executive Council, and representatives from concerning central and municipal sectors and agencies.
