The Catholic Solidarity Board in Nghe An province’s Do Luong district held a meeting on August 04 for reviewing its performance in the first six months of 2020.
As reported at the meeting, in the first six months of 2020, Catholic parishes and communities in the province have voluntarily contributed tens of billions VND and thousands of working days to the campaign launched for social development in the locality.
Catholic parishes and communities also contributed 189 million VND and necessities for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic in the locality in the last six months.
In addition, Congregations of Lovers of the Holy Cross in the district have been caring for 47 orphans and children with disabilities.
