The Committee for Solidarity of Catholics in Ninh Thuan province held on June 12 a conference reviewing the emulation movement for national construction and defense in the 2015-2020 period.
Present at the event included Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Phan Hữu Đức, Priest Vice Chairman of the Catholic solidarity committee John Baptist Nguyễn Văn Sỹ, representatives of concerning departments and agencies, and large numbers of outstanding Catholic priests, clergymen, clergywomen and followers in the province.
During the conference, the Catholic solidarity committee honored and presented certificates of merit to three groups and two individuals for their outstanding contributions for national construction and defense in the last five years. The provincial Fatherland Front also awarded a certificate of merit to the Catholic solidarity committee for its practical contributions for socio-economic development in the locality.
