Priest Peter Nguyễn Hùng, Vice President of the CSVC speaks at the meeting

The meeting has pointed out achievements and limitations in implementing patriotic movements in 2023, as well as mapped out key tasks for 2024.

As reported at the event, in 2023, Catholic communities in the Central Region have well implemented the Party and the State guidelines and policies, and actively joined patriotic movements for the socio-economic developments in localities with contributions of hundreds of millions of VND, thousands of working days, and housing land for making clean and beautiful residential areas.

Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee in Khanh Hoa province Đinh Văn Thiệu speaks at the event

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee in Khanh Hoa province Đinh Văn Thiệu expressed hope that the CSVC in Central Region would continue becoming a bridge between Catholic communities, the Catholic Church and local authorities and other religions, promoting cohesion between  Catholic countrymen and the nation and serving as a strong foothold for local Catholics to reflect their needs and aspirations to local authorities, and actively participate in local patriotic movements for socio-economic development in localities.
