Catholic Solidarity Committee holds a Christmas meeting

The Vietnam Committee for Catholic Solidarity (VCCS) held a meeting on December 17 in Hanoi to celebrate Christmas 2014 and New Year 2015.

 Attending the meeting were Mr. Lê Bá Trình, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), Mr. Nguyễn Dương Long, Deputy Director of Department of Catholic Affairs under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, representatives from ministries, branches and other religions.

Addressing the meeting, the VCCS’s Vice Chairman and General Secretary, Priest Trần Xuân Mạnh sent his greetings for a peaceful and merry Christmas and a happy New Year 2015 to the Catholic Solidarity Committees in provinces and cities and Catholic followers around the country.

At the meeting, the VFF Vice Chairman Le Ba Trinh sent his best wishes to Catholics dignitaries and followers in the country on occasion of Christmas 2014. He also expressed his belief that Catholic followers would continue to promote the solidarity tradition, actively take part in the patriotic movements launched by the VFF.
