The Board for Solidarity of Catholics in Ha Tinh province’s Vu Quang district held on January 26 a meeting to review the implementation of patriotic emulation movements in the 2012-2017 period.
Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front committee Bùi Nhân Sâm was amongst local guests at the event.
Presenting certificates of merit to local outstanding Catholic groups and individuals
The meeting also elected typical members to the board for the 2017 – 2022 tenure and presented certificates of merit to local Catholic groups and individuals for their outstanding contributions in the patriotic movements in the 2012-2017 period.
As reported at the event, Vu Quang district currently has one Catholic parish and six congregations with over 1,200 parishioners.
