Local Catholics have proactively joined patriotic movements and programs launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the Central Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics and spent over 30 billion VND on social charities in the fields of human activities, education and health.
Specifically, local priests have motivated local Catholics to launch social charities, build rural bridges, repair rural roads, and support the construction of charity houses to the lonely elderly.
In addition, local Catholic community has also contributed over 4.1 billion VND for the Covid-19 prevention work in the locality.
