About 230 gift sets were presented to the poor and people with disabilities in Tien Giang province’s Cai Lay town at a charitable event held on October 22 at Cai Lay Parish’s church under My Tho Diocese.
Each gift set included rice, noodle, cooking oil and sugar… and the event was funded by sponsors and a charitable group in Ho Chi Minh City in response to an appeal for support by Priest Head of Cai Lay Parish Alphonsus Khuất Đăng Tôn.
Priest Khuất Đăng Tôn stated that he would continue gathering supports and contributions from donors and charitable groups to share difficulties with poor people in Cai Lay town.
