The Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics in Ninh Thuan province held on Oct 28 a conference to review its activities in the first half of the 2014-2019 tenure.
Attending the conference included Priest President Ngô Mạnh Điệp and members of the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics in Ninh Thuan province.
Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Phan Hữu Đức and Acting Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Đỗ Hải Nam were amongst local guests at the event.
The conference discussed the report on the Committee’s performance in the first half of the 2014-2019 tenure and launched a program in response to the movement of environmental protection and climate change adaptation.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Phan Hữu Đức spoked highly the Committee’s achievements in recent years and expressed his hope that the Committee would continue encouraging Catholics dignitaries and believers in the province to uphold its fine traditions and actively participate in local movements for social-economic development in the locality.
