The Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics (CSVC) in Nghe An province held on July 24 a meeting to review its activities in the first six months of 2017.
The meeting discussed results of the patriotic movement and the solidarity committee’s activities in previous six months, as well as outlined plans of activities in the last six months of 2017.
As reported at the event, local Catholics made many practical contributions to socio-economic development in the locality in the last six months, including a voluntary contribution of VND 12 billion, 18,542 m2 of land, materials and hundreds of working days for building the local transport system, and social charities with a contributing value of VND 2.1 billion.
