Catholic charitable school holds outdoor activities on International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Nhan Ai (Humane Kindness) School under the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres located in Tien Giang’s My Tho City have held outdoor activities for its deaf-mute children on International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3).

The school has taken its 107 students to Suoi Tien Tourist Site located in Ho Chi Minh City for attending the camping exchange 2017 with children with disabilities across the country.

According to Mrs. Huỳnh Thị Trúc Hương, head of Tien Giang delegation, the camping event drew the participation of 6,000 children from 53 delegations nationwide and 36 groups from schools and centers in Ho Chi Minh City which are taking care of children with disabilities from all over the country.   

During the camping, children with disabilities have enjoyed many art performances, folk games and other entertaining activities held by the organizing board of the camping.
