Nhan Ai (Mercy) Center for Children with Disabilities in Ca Mau province held a thanksgiving mass for celebrating its 10th founding anniversary on September 4.
The mass was presided over by Bishop of Da Lat Diocese Antonio Vũ Huy Chương, and joint by Priest Paul Nguyễn Văn Vinh - the center director cum chairman of the Catholic solidarity committee in Ca Mau, priests and nuns from Ca Mau and neighboring deaneries, representatives of local authorities, and 800 Catholics, relatives of children at the center and sponsors.
Speaking at the event, Priest Paul Nguyễn Văn Vinh took the chance to thank local authorities, priests, nuns and sponsors for their support extended to the Nhan Ai – Mercy center in the past ten years.
At the thanksgiving mass
As reported, the center is currently home to 80 children with disabilities and it is providing accommodations, basic knowledge, life skills and vocational training for the children, helping them better get on with their life and integrate into communities.
