The pastoral council and caritas of the cathedral parish under My Tho Diocese held on November 19 a charity program for the poor living in My Tho City, in response to the World Day of the Poor 19/11 launched by the Catholic Church.
During the program held in the campus of the diocese’s cathedral, 150 gift sets of household items including television, refrigerator, fan, air conditioning, gas stove, oven were handed over to the poor. In addition, the parish also served 700 free buffet meals with a total value of over 100 million VND.
