Nearly 100 participants of a Caodai training course from 23 Caodai parishes under the Ante-Creation Caodai Church in Tien Giang province’s Cai Lay provincial city, attended on October 22 a session on the Law on Belief and Religion 2016.
The training session taking place in Hoa An Pho Hoa oratory located in Nhi Quy commune of the province’s Cai Lay provincial city was co-organized by the Ante-Creation Caodai Church’s Representative Committee in the province and the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.
Present at the event also included Archbishop Thượng Phương Thanh and Archbishop Hương Hương, Heads of the Ante-Creation Caodai Church’s Education Ministry; Bishop Chairman of the Caodai church’s representative committee in Tien Giang Thượng Thêu Thanh, and Vice Chairman of the provincial Religious Affairs Committee Trần Văn Khuê.
The leaning session covered key contents on the law on belief and religion, including the registration for religious group’s activities, lawful venues for religious practices, notification for additional annual activities, the period of time for recognition of religious organizations, religious practices by foreign followers legally residing in Vietnam, responsibilities of competent agencies in belief and religion, and the inspection in the field of belief & religion.
