On July 4th, 2014, the Management Board of Thanh Phước commune held a ceremony to inaugurate a new Oratory in Trâm Vàng 3 village, Thanh Phước commune, Tây Ninh province.
Attending the ceremony were representatives from Tây Ninh’s Committee for Religious Affairs; the People's Committee of Gò Dầu district and Phước Thanh commune.
The inauguratory ceremony also has the attendance of Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh, Chairman of the Executive Council; dignitaries from the Church and the Representative Board of Tây Ninh; deacons, followers of Thanh Phước commune and Caodai communes in Tây Ninh province, with the total number of 1,000 people.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Trương Thị Phú, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Gò Dầu district highly appreciated the efforts of the Management Board and all Caodai Tây Ninh believers. She also expressed her hope that the Management Board of Thành Phước commune continues to live for “better religious and secular life”, be actively involved in activities for local social- economic development.
At the ceremony, Cardinal Thượng Tám Thanh expressed his thanks to local authorities for creating favorable conditions for Thành Phước commune to complete the oratory and informed that the oratory has been build according to the 6th model designed by the Church with a total cost of more than 2 billion VND. He also requested Thành Phước Caodai commune to promote solidarity and comply with State’ laws.
