The Tay Ninh provincial Representative Committee of Caodai Tay Ninh church opened the first training course for deacons in Long Hai parish, Hoa Thanh district on June 3. This is the first out of nine training courses to be held in Tay Ninh province according to a committee’s plan.
Attending the ceremony included Cardinal Thái Thọ Thanh, Head of the Representative Committee and about 130 course participants from six parishes of Long Hai, Long Thanh Nam, Truong An, Truong Luu, Truong Hoa and Hiep Hoa.
Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Võ Thành Công also joint Caodai followers and delivered a welcome speech in the event.
