The Caidai Tay Ninh Church held a traditional New Year meeting at its hall on February 7.
Attending the meeting were Deputy Secretary of Tay Ninh provincial Party Committee Lê Minh Trọng, representatives from the provincial departments and local authorities of Tay Ninh city, Hoa Thanh district and Long Thanh Bac commune, and large numbers of Caodai dignitaries, deacons and followers in the locality.
At the meeting, Mr. Lê Minh Trọng briefed the provincial socio-economic situation, and spoke highly of achievements in religious activities of Caodai followers.
He also extended best wishes to Caodai dignitaries and followers ahead of the upcoming traditional New Year 2015 and acknowledged Caodai follower’s contributions to the provincial successes in overcoming economic difficulties, and maintaining social stability and progress.
On this occasion, Chairman of Tay Ninh provincial People’s Committee presented the Certificate of Merit to 03 organizations and 09 individuals for their practical contributions to the national construction and defense between 1995 – 2014./.
