The established networking group for promoting exchanges by Caodai churches and organizations held its 12th conference on March 22 at Ngoc Sac Holy See under Minh Chon (Verity) Caodai Church located in Ca Mau province’s Thoi Binh district.
As many as 600 delegates attended the conference, including dignitaries of the Caodai group’s Executive Council, Assisting Committee and Secretary Board, representative dignitaries from nine churches and seven organizations, and dignitaries from the Verity Caodai sect’s central functioning bodies and its 49 parishes.
Guests at the event included Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng and representatives of the provincial-level religious committee of 12 provinces and cities where headquarters of Caodai churches and organizations located.
The conference reviewed inter-sect activities in the past 11 years, as well as mapped out working plans of the networking group of Caodai churches and organizations for the coming years.
According to the conference report, the group of Caodai sects recorded an increase of 22,000 new converts, organized two religious training courses for preaching dignitaries, five courses for dignitaries and 629 parish-level training courses. The group established a monthly Caodai magazine with 30 published series, and invested over VND 500 billion on upgrading and building worshipping oratories.
Regarding social charities, the groups of Caodai sects made a contributed value of VND 343 billion in social charities programs for the disadvantaged in localities in the last 11 years.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the government religious committee Vũ Chiến Thắng asked the networking group of Caodai churches and organizations to uphold fine traditions of Caodaism and strengthen unity, contributing to the successful implementation of the motto for “Glorified Country – Enlightended Religion”
The established network of Caodai sects is currently joint by nine Caodai churches, six Caodai organizations and the Minh Ly Church, with a total of approximately one million followers./.
