Attending the event included Priest Thái Quang Thanh, Head of the Caodai Church’s representative in Dong Thap province, Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Võ Chí Hữu, and representatives from parishes and other religions in the province.
The one-day event reviewed results of the religious affairs of the Caodai parish in the past five years and approved the working plans for the 2022-2027 tenure, as well as nominated eight delegates to attend the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s upcoming national congress.
Earlier, the provincial VFF officials also attended the grassroots-level congress of Cao Dai parish in Phu Thanh A commune of Tam Nong district.
