Thoi Lai Caodai parish under the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Ben Tre province’s Binh Dai district solemnly held on May 10 the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of its Mother Goddess worshipping temple.
Attending the ceremony included Chairman of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Representative Committee in the province Bishop Ngọc Gắt Thanh and a large number of Caodai dignitaries, deacons and followers from 28 parishes in the province.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Hồng Quân and local authorities’ representatives.
Thoi Lai parish was established in 1969 and its new oratory of the parish was built in 2016. For meeting current needs of religious practices by local followers of the parish, the Mother Goddess worshipping temple will be built on a total area of 1,480 m2.
