Long Hau Caodai parish located in Dong Thap province’s Lai Vung district held on March 16 a ceremony for formally launching a club established for environmental protection and climate change response.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from Tay Ninh Caodai Church in the province, members of the Caodai club and representatives of local authorities.
During the ceremony, in addition to electing the executive board, promulgating the working regulations and the working plan for 2018 of the 30-member club, the club held its first meeting on causes and effects of environmental pollution and climate changes.
