Caodai Churches and organizations held 10th annual conference on May 16 to review its collaboration in religious activities at the White Cloth Caodai Church’s Holy See in Kien Giang province’s Chau Thanh district.
Attending the event were dignitaries and representatives of eight Caodai Churches and six Caodai organizations, with a total of 150 delegates.
Director of Cao Dai Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Đắc Tuấn and local authorities were also present at the conference.
The reviewing conference highlighted co-operation activities by Caodai Churches and organizations from 2008 to present, including the organization of the 90th founding anniversary of Caodaism in Hanoi and Ben Tre province, a conference on five-year cooperation in Chau Minh Holy See, 100 training meetings on religious tenets for over 10.000 dignitaries, deacons and followers, publication of the Caodai Magazine, running of a website on Caodaism, inauguration and restoration of over 100 oratories at the cost of over VND 50 billion, and social and charitable activities with a total value of 50 billion VND
The conference also approved a plan of collaboration activities of Caodai churches and organizations for the 2017-2018 term. Concluding the event, the Ante-Creation Caodai Church handed over a flag symbol to the White Cloth Caodai Church for the Church to host the next annual meeting of Caodai churches and organizations.
