The Caodai Cau Kho Tam Quan Church held its fourth congress for 2015 – 2020 tenure at Cau Kho Holy See in Hoai Nhon district, Binh Dinh province on May 3.
Attending the congress were members from the Representative Committee of the Church, and over 500 dignitaries, deacons and followers from eight provinces and cities.
Distinguished guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Dương Ngọc Tấn and representatives from the provincial People’s Committee.
According to a congress report, the Caodai Cau Kho Tam Quan Church recorded good results in religious affairs in the 3rd term including the opening of seven doctrinal classes, building of 11 new oratories, and publication of nearly 4,000 religious books. The Congress elected the Church’s new 19-member Upper Council for the next term with Dignitary Lê Giới reelected as Head of the Council.
