Candle night marking for the 710 anniversary of the death of King-monk Trần Nhân Tông in Quang Ninh

As part of the 710 anniversary of the death of the King-Monk Trần Nhân Tông, a candle night took place in the evening of December 6 at Trinh pagoda in Quang Ninh province.
The ceremony drew the participation of thousands of Buddhist monks, nuns and followers.
The ceremony also featured an art performance celebrating to the life and merit of the King-Monk Trần Nhân Tông.
As part of the event, delegates performed the ribbon cutting ritual for the inauguration of a Buddhist park inside Trinh pagoda.

During the event, the participants also listened to Buddhist preaching and great contributions of King-Monk Trần Nhân Tông and Truc Lam Zen Buddhism founded by the King-Monk.
