Thot Not Protestant meeting group under O Mon Protestant Church officially made its debut at a ceremony held on September 12 in Thot Not district.
Attending the ceremony included Pastor Lê Hoàng Long, Chairman of the Council of Clergy under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) cum Head of the Protestant Representative Committee in Can Tho city and about 100 followers in the city.
Thot Not ward and district authorities’ representatives also attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Commissioned Pastor Võ Thanh Phán, the Superintendent of O Mon Protestant Church delivered a welcome speech. Pastor Lê Hoàng Long delivered a preaching with the theme “Developing the Church”.
After that, a representative from local authorities presented the religious registration certificate of Thot Not meeting group to O Mon Protestant Church. The three-member Executive Board of the meeting groups led by Commissioned Pastor Võ Thanh Phán also made its debut at the ceremony.
