The temple was built in Ly dynasty for worshipping place dedicated to Hoàng Mười mandarin who has great contributions in building and defending the locality. The Ca temple festival is annually held on the 10^th of the tenth lunar month with many activities and folk games.

On occasion of the festival, an exchange program on performances of the Mother Goddess worship was also organized, drawing the participation of 40 mediums.

Concluding the event, the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism in Ha Tinh province in collaboration with Hong Linh authorities presented certificates of recommendation to mediums attending the exchange program.
