On November 25, at the Ngoc Sac Holy See, the Minh Chon Dao (Bright - Verity Way) Caodai Church held a meeting to celebrate Ha Nguon (Last Ice Age) ceremony and review results of religious affairs 2015.
Attending the meeting included representatives from the Standing Committee and 140 dignitaries, deacons and followers representing 35 out of all 49 parishes of the Church.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Đoàn Tấn Sỹ, Vice Chairman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Văn Khởi, local authorities’ representatives.
According to the meeting report, during the year, Caodai followers have conducted many practical activities, including organization of 708 training meetings on religious teachings, and state laws and policies on religion, defense and security for about 30,000 followers; social and charity activities with the total of over VND 15 billion. With these typical results, the provinces of Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang and Kien Giang People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented certificates of merit to 24 local Caodai organizations and individuals for their outstanding contributions over the past years.
