On June 5-6, a delegation led by Nun Head of Economic – Finance Board of Da Nang city Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee Hạnh Tâm paid a charity visit to fishermen in Quang Tri province’s Gio Linh district.
At Mai Ha pagoda, the delegation presented 200 gift boxes packed with many kinds of food worth 60 million VND to fishermen in hamlets of Tan Xuan and Hoang Ha along Cua Viet coast in Gio Linh district.
The charity program was sponsored by Buddhists in Da Nang city and King Wines company.
On the same day, the delegation also visited and presented 17 million VND to Mrs. Tran Thị Diệu Thanh in Phong Dien district’s Phong Binh commune in Thua Thien Hue province who is critically suffering from rectum cancer and her family is raising three young children.
