Buddhist Temple under Pure-Land Buddhist Association in An Giang inaugurates its new worshipping hall

The main worshipping hall of Hung Hoa Temple under the Pure-Land Buddhist Association located in An Giang province’s Long Xuyen city was solemnly inaugurated at a ceremony held on July 4.
Attending the ceremony included Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Pure-Land Buddhist Association’s Executive Committee Nguyễn Ngọc Ánh, dignitaries representing other religions, and a large number of followers of the Buddhist Association. Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Huỳnh Thành Cư was amongst guests representing local authorities at the event.
The original worshipping hall of Hung Hoa Temple was built 68 years ago, and has been upgraded many times. The temple’s new main worshipping building has been completed after nearly one year of construction at the total cost of over two billion VND.
