A delegation of Ngoc Co Buddhist Temple located in Da Nang City paid on September 20 a visit to locals seriously affected by recent floods in communes of Van Hoa and Mai Hoa in Quang Binh province’s Tuyen Hoa District.
During the visit, the delegation led by Superior Nun Quý Liên distributed 300 relief packets, each containing 10kg of rice, one box of noodle and VND 300 thousand in cash, to flood victims in two communes.
The charitable program, implemented in collaboration with the Buddhis Sangha in Tuyen Hoa district and valued at VND 150 million in total, aimed to share with locals’ difficulties caused by floods occurring in August and September in the central province’s Tuyen Hoa district.
