The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Chapter in Quang Binh province organized on February 10 a charity program for the poor on occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Dog 2018.
During the event taking place in Dai Giac Pagoda located in the province’s Dong Hoi city, the provincial Buddhist committee presented gift sets to 150 disadvantaged families from communes in Dong Hoi provincial city, each gift set worth VND 500,000.
The charity program held on the sideline of a year-end ceremony organized by the provincial VBS executive committee aimed to promote love sharing and bring more joy to poor households in the city.
