Tam Thanh Pagoda in Dong Thap province’s Tam Nong district has mobilized resources from devotees to make 1,200 gift sets for flood victims in Central Vietnam.
These gift packages set included cash, rice, noodle and daily necessities with the total value of over VND 400 million.
The gift sets were presented to flood victims in provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh on October 20 by Venerable Thích Thiện Quý, Head of the charity group of Tam Thanh Pagoda.
After this charitable program, the charity group of Tam Thanh Pagoda is expected to continue gathering supports and contributions to be sent to flood-hit people in the central region.
