Phuoc An pagoda located in Long Thanh district’s Long An commune of Dong Nai province on May 19 presented 200 gift sets to visually impaired people, Agent Orange victims, lonely seniors and disadvantaged people in the district.
Each gift sets contains rice, noodles, soy sauces, cooking oils, monosodium glutamates, cash and other necessities.
The program valued at 100 million VND was sponsored by Senior Venerable Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board in Long Thanh cum Abbot of Phuoc An pagoda Thích Huệ Nghiệp. It was implemented in collaboration with the Red Cross Association in the district on occasion of the 130th birth anniversary of President Hồ Chí Minh and the launching of the Humanitarian Month 2020.
