A ceremony was held on August 27 for inauguration of the main worshipping hall of An Loc Pagoda in Ben Tre province’s Binh Dai district.
The event saw the participation of Most Venerable Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee Thích Nhựt Tấn, Buddhist monks, nuns from local pagodas and monasteries, and local authorities’ representatives.
An Loc Pagoda was established in 1912. The reconstruction of its main worshipping temple was completed with an estimated cost of over VND 2.6 billion.
