Buddhist monk hands over classrooms for ethnic minority pupils in Binh Phuoc

The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board in Binh Phuoc province’s Bu Dang district has handed over two classrooms for pupils in Kim Dong elementary school in Duc Lieu commune, Bu Dang district at a ceremony on October 12.  

The event saw the presence of Senior Venerable Head of the district VBS’s Executive Board Thích Đồng Tấn, representative from local authorities, the management board and pupils from Kim Dong school.

As reported at the event, Duc Bon An Lan Nha pagoda located in Bu Dang district has raised fund for the construction of two classrooms and provision of necessary equipments such as tables, chairs, a green library and an outdoor toys system for pupils with the total value of nearly VND 350 million. The two classrooms, each has 70 square meters, took nearly one month for completion.

On the occasion, Senior Venerable Thích Đồng Tấn and Vietnam Post also presented VND 200 million to the school to rebuild the working office for the management board.
