The Vietnam Buddhist Institute in Ho Chi Minh city has scheduled the reopening day after the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival 2021.
Accordingly, boarding monks and nuns will return to the Institute and its branch based in Vinh Nghiem Monastery (Hiep Thanh ward, District 12) on Tuesday, March 2, and monks and nuns must arrive on time for health-check before entering the Institute.
Monks and nuns from the provinces of Hai Duong and Quang Ninh must have a negative COVID-19 test certificate before entering the Institute. Other monks and nuns must complete health declarations at the Institute.
The study timetable for students of the Institute will start from Thursday, March 4, 2021.
The notice requested that all teachers and students must have wear masks in teaching, studying and working during the first week, and strictly follow the Ministry of Health’s 5K message: Khau trang (face mask) – Khu khuan (disinfection) – Khoang cach (distance) – Khong tu tap (no gathering) – Khai bao y te (health declaration).
