From November 6-8, a delegation from Loving Hearts Charity Association and Kwan Yin Monastery in Ho Chi Minh City conducted a charity visit to flood-hit province of Quang Binh.
During the visit, the charity delegation led by Nun Abbot of Kwan Yin Monastery Thích Nữ Huệ Đức presented 1,000 gift sets to people in flooded communes of Quang Minh (Ba Don Town), Tien Hoa (Tuyen Hoa district) and Lien Trach (Bo Trach district), with total value of over VND one billion.
Each gift sets included VND 500,000 in cash and necessities for daily life, such as washing pots, soap, covering tarpaulins, blankets, etc.
Delegation provides relief to people in Tuyen Hoa district
On this occasion, the delegation also visited some needing schools and remote areas for accessing damages and losses so that they can better mobilize resources from donors in Ho Chi Minh City for further helping those in need as results of the devastating flood in October.
